Heavenly Cinnamon Apple Bread – 2 Apples, Big Flavor

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just blended. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and swirl with a knife.
  6. Add the remaining batter and repeat the cinnamon swirl.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
