Pioneer Woman Apple Crisp Recipe

  • 8 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add water and pour into a greased 9×13 dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle topping over apples.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
