Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

No-bake peanut butter balls combined with Rice Krispies cereal and coated in chocolate, offering a sweet, crunchy, and creamy treat perfect for sharing or gifting.

  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, softened margarine or butter, and powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and place on wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into melted chocolate, coating completely, then return to wax paper.
  6. Refrigerate until chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.

Notes

For best results, use crunchy peanut butter for added texture. These no-bake treats can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt before chocolate sets for a sweet-salty flavor.
