Ultimate Cheesy Ground Beef Melt

A hearty and indulgent sandwich filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls, split
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned and cooked through.
  2. Drain excess fat, then stir in salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread butter on the inside of each hoagie roll.
  4. Divide the beef mixture among the rolls, then top each with a slice of cheddar and a slice of provolone cheese.
  5. Place sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
