For the Crust:
- 4 ripe but firm pears
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the cores to create a small cavity.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, honey, ginger, cinnamon, and melted butter to form a paste.
- Fill each pear cavity with the almond mixture and sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
- Place pears in a baking dish, add water to the dish, and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with extra honey.
