Stuffed Pears with Almond & Ginger Filling

A delicious dessert featuring baked pears stuffed with a sweet almond and ginger mixture.

For the Crust:

  • 4 ripe but firm pears
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the cores to create a small cavity.
  3. In a bowl, mix almond flour, honey, ginger, cinnamon, and melted butter to form a paste.
  4. Fill each pear cavity with the almond mixture and sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
  5. Place pears in a baking dish, add water to the dish, and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.
  6. Serve warm, optionally drizzled with extra honey.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
