Homemade Snickers Bars

These Homemade Snickers Bars feature layers of chocolate, creamy nougat, peanuts, and caramel, replicating the classic candy bar with rich, decadent flavors.

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 7 ounces marshmallow fluff
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 11 ounces caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. For the first chocolate layer, melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter until smooth. Spread evenly in a lined pan and chill to set.
  2. Prepare the nougat layer by mixing 7 ounces marshmallow fluff, 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in 1 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts. Spread over the set chocolate layer and chill.
  3. Melt 11 ounces unwrapped caramels with 1/4 cup heavy cream over low heat until smooth. Pour over the nougat layer and chill until firm.
  4. For the top chocolate layer, melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter. Spread over the caramel layer and chill until fully set.
  5. Cut into 12 bars and store covered in the refrigerator.

Notes

Use store-bought peanut butter for convenience or homemade if preferred. Unwrap caramels before melting for a smooth caramel layer. Store bars covered in the refrigerator or in a cool place during cold weather.
