Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes

Thinly sliced russet potatoes cooked in a slow cooker with Lipton onion soup mix, garlic powder, pepper, and olive oil for a flavorful and tender side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, thinly sliced (about 8 small potatoes)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 oz packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  2. Add the sliced potatoes to the slow cooker in a spiral design if desired.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, pepper, and Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the potatoes.
  4. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the potatoes.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours without opening the lid during cooking.

Notes

Using a mandolin to slice the potatoes ensures even cooking. Avoid opening the lid during cooking to allow the potatoes to become tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Gently scoop out the potatoes to prevent sticking.
