For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 1/2 cups pretzel twists, roughly crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in half of the crushed pretzels.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Sprinkle remaining pretzels over the top and lightly press them into the batter. Finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before slicing.
