For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup cold butter, cubed
- 4–5 tbsp ice water
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add ice water, 1 tbsp at a time, until dough forms. Roll out dough and cut into circles to fit mini pie tins.
- In another bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Spoon filling into pie crusts.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with salted caramel sauce before serving.
