For the Crust:

  • 1 15-oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cake mix, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
  3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.
  5. While the cake cools, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and serve.
