  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough or homemade dough
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Pepperoni slices (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil for brushing dough edges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to fit a pie or baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned and crumbled; drain excess fat.
  4. Add chopped onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef; cook until vegetables are tender.
  5. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough base.
  6. Layer cooked beef mixture over the sauce.
  7. Add pepperoni slices and other desired pizza toppings.
  8. Cover with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Brush edges of dough with olive oil for a golden crust.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until dough is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a crispier crust, preheat the oven fully and consider using a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brushing the dough edges with olive oil enhances browning. Customize toppings to your preference for variety.
