  • 3 oz mini pepperoni
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 810 corn or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Cook the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks until fully browned.
  2. Add the mini pepperoni to the skillet and cook for a few more minutes until the pepperoni starts to crisp and cup.
  3. Stir in the pizza sauce and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking for a few minutes until heated through.
  4. Warm the tortillas, optionally charring them slightly in a dry skillet or over a gas flame for extra flavor.
  5. Assemble the tacos by spooning the meat mixture onto each tortilla, then top with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil.
