Peach Cobbler Dump Cake

This peach cobbler dump cake is an easy dessert made by layering canned peaches, cake mix, and grated butter in a 9×13 pan—no mixing bowl required. Bake until golden brown and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (15 oz) cans sliced peaches in 100% juice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 Tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Dump peaches (with juice) into a 9×13 pan. Add cinnamon and vanilla, stir and spread into an even layer.
  2. Sprinkle the box of cake mix evenly over the peaches. Gently flatten with a spatula.
  3. Grate cold butter over the top using a hand grater, ensuring even coverage. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown and center is cooked through. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use peaches in 100% juice, not syrup, for best results. Cold butter grated on top creates a crispy cobbler topping. Fresh peaches (about 4 cups, peeled and sliced) can substitute canned, but avoid frozen to prevent mushiness.
