  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in chopped peaches and set aside.

  4. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared donut pan. Add a spoonful of the peach-cheesecake mixture to each donut, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. For topping, mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Sprinkle over warm donuts.

Notes

For best results, use well-drained canned peaches. Donuts are best served warm. You can substitute fresh peaches if in season.
