For the Crust:
- 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish while the oven preheats.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk to form a batter. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Arrange peach slices evenly over the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and remaining sugar.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
