For the Crust:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Quickly stir in oats, coconut, and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool until set.
