4 from 1 reviews

A festive no-bake layered dessert featuring a cookie crust, creamy layers, and holiday-themed toppings, perfect for Christmas celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (about 15.25 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces whipped topping, divided
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 3/4 cups cold milk
  • Red and green holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies finely, reserving about 1 cup for topping.
  2. Mix the remaining crushed cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the whipped topping until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust and refrigerate while preparing the pudding layer.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  6. Spread the pudding layer over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
  7. Top the pudding with the remaining whipped topping, spreading evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs and holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes on top for decoration.
  9. Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving to allow layers to set.
  10. For cleaner slices, freeze the dessert for 30 minutes before cutting.

Notes

This no-bake dessert is best made ahead to allow the layers to fully set. Freezing briefly before slicing helps achieve clean, even pieces. Customize the topping with holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes for a festive touch.
