No Bake Chocolate Cherry Pie

A decadent no-bake dessert featuring a chocolate cookie crust, creamy chocolate filling, and sweet cherry pie filling, topped with whipped topping.

  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate bar, finely grated (optional)
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 3.4 oz box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 20 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 12 oz Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

  1. Using a food processor, grind Oreos into crumbs. Mix with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish lightly sprayed with non-stick spray. Place in the fridge to set up.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar together. Add optional grated chocolate, milk, and pudding mix. Scrape sides of bowl until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  3. Spread chocolate layer onto crust and return to fridge to set up for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Carefully dollop cherry pie filling onto chocolate layer, spreading as little as possible to avoid muddling layers.
  5. Carefully dollop Cool Whip onto pie filling, spreading as little as possible to avoid muddling layers.
  6. Decorate top with more crushed Oreos or maraschino cherries if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, best if overnight. Keep refrigerated before serving.

Notes

For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate pudding mix. Substitute graham cracker crumbs for Oreos for a different crust. This pie can be made a day ahead for best results.
