For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup pineapple jam
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten slightly. Make an indentation in the center of each.
- Fill each indentation with pineapple jam.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
