Spicy Mexican Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

  • 2 limes (juice)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp chipotle paste (read notes)
  • 1 tsp chili powder or flakes
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 ½ Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 ½ Tbsp oregano
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a resealable bag, jar, or container.
  2. Shake/whisk vigorously so the seasonings dissolve well and combine.
  3. Add chicken to the bag or container and shake/turn to coat on all sides.
  4. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to cook.
