For the Crust:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in chopped walnuts and pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
