For the Crust:
- 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish. Sprinkle with half the bacon, half the cheese, and half the green onions.
- Repeat with remaining potatoes, bacon, cheese, and green onions.
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour evenly over the potatoes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
