Loaded BBQ Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole

A delicious casserole combining crispy tater tots, smoky BBQ sauce, creamy ranch dressing, savory bacon, and tender chicken for a hearty and flavorful meal.

  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and half of the crumbled bacon. Mix well.
  3. Spread half of the tater tots in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the chicken mixture evenly over the tater tots.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken layer.
  6. Add the remaining tater tots on top, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bacon.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking. You can substitute rotisserie chicken for convenience. Adjust BBQ sauce and ranch dressing amounts to taste for desired flavor balance.
