Juicy Pineapple Heaven Cake

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, crushed pineapple (with juice), and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in walnuts if using. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before serving.
