Italian Cream Cheese Cake

A rich and creamy Italian-inspired cheesecake with a hint of vanilla and a buttery crust.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, sour cream, and flour. Mix well.
  4. Pour filling over the crust. Bake for 50-55 minutes until the center is set.
  5. Cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
