For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the sliced potatoes, onions, and carrots in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the vegetables.
- In a bowl, mix the condensed soup with milk; pour over the beef and vegetables. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
