Gooey Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Decadent bars with layers of caramel, chocolate, and a crunchy base for the perfect sweet treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by caramel sauce. Top with chopped nuts and crispy rice cereal.
  5. Bake for another 15 minutes until caramel is bubbly. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
