Gooey Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Decadent bars with a crunchy base, gooey caramel middle, and rich chocolate topping.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until edges are golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the warm bars. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  6. Top with chopped nuts (if using) and a sprinkle of sea salt. Chill for at least 1 hour before cutting.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
