For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes until edges are golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the warm bars. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
- Top with chopped nuts (if using) and a sprinkle of sea salt. Chill for at least 1 hour before cutting.
