Mouth-watering German Chocolate Poke Cake

A decadent German chocolate poke cake with rich coconut-pecan frosting and chocolate drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 tub whipped topping

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare and bake the German chocolate cake according to package directions in a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. While still warm, poke holes all over the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the caramel topping.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans and shredded coconut over the top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow toppings to soak into the cake.
  6. Before serving, spread whipped topping over the cake and drizzle with chocolate fudge sauce.
