4 from 1 reviews

These Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles combine juicy seared steak, creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce, and perfectly cooked linguine or noodles for a rich and comforting meal.[1][4]

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz egg, ramen, or linguine noodles, cooked per package (slightly underdone)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: shallots or onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions until slightly underdone, drain, and set aside.[4]
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak slices with salt and pepper, then sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.[4]
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic (and optional shallots) and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.[1][3]
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.[1][3]
  5. Add cooked noodles and steak back to the skillet. Toss everything together in the garlic butter sauce until well coated and heated through. Serve immediately.[1][4]

Notes

For best results, slice steak thinly against the grain for tenderness. Use room temperature steak for even cooking. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat if desired.
