A rich and indulgent lasagna combining the savory flavors of a bacon cheeseburger with creamy Parmesan garlic sauce, layered with lasagna noodles and melted cheese for the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the pan.
  3. Add ground beef and diced onion to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until beef is browned and onions are softened. Drain excess fat and stir in cooked bacon. Set meat mixture aside.
  4. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1 minute until slightly golden to form a roux.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens (about 3–4 minutes).
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika if using. Stir until smooth.
  7. Add 1 cup of mozzarella or cheddar cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and creamy. Remove from heat.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Assemble the lasagna: spread a thin layer of the Parmesan garlic sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, half of the meat mixture, half of the ricotta cheese (if using), a third of the remaining sauce, and a third of the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  10. Repeat layers once more, then top with the last 3 noodles, remaining sauce, and remaining shredded cheese.
  11. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.
  12. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  13. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions.

Notes

For extra creaminess, ricotta cheese is optional but recommended. You can customize the cheese blend to your preference. Letting the lasagna rest after baking helps it set for easier slicing.
