For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 100g blue cheese, crumbled
- 50g walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle. Sprinkle evenly with blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme.
- Roll the pastry tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds and arrange on the baking tray.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Serve warm as a pull-apart appetizer or side dish.
