For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 100g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 50g walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle. Sprinkle evenly with blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme.
  3. Roll the pastry tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds and arrange on the baking tray.
  4. Brush the tops with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  5. Serve warm as a pull-apart appetizer or side dish.
