Turkey Sliders Recipe

Easy baked turkey sliders made with Hawaiian rolls, thin-sliced deli turkey, creamy Havarti cheese, and a buttery glaze with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and dried minced onion, baked until cheese melts and sliders are warm.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Hawaiian rolls or any party rolls
  • 24 slices turkey
  • 12 slices creamy Havarti cheese, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice the rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached as a slab.
  2. Layer the thin slices of creamy Havarti cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  3. Layer the turkey slices evenly over the cheese.
  4. Carefully replace the top halves of the rolls and seal the sides to form a box.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, and poppy seeds; whisk until combined.
  6. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls using a pastry brush.
  7. Wrap the entire slab tightly in foil.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warmed through.
  9. Unwrap the foil, cut into individual sliders, serve, and enjoy.

Notes

1. Hawaiian rolls are preferred for their softness and sweetness, but any party rolls work well. 2. To make cleanup easier, line your baking dish with foil. 3. For extra flavor, you can add a little extra mustard or Worcestershire sauce to the butter glaze.
