Starbucks Cake Pops

Delicious homemade cake pops inspired by Starbucks, perfect for parties or sweet treats.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Sprinkles or decorations (optional)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Mix in the vanilla frosting until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert into the chilled cake balls. Let set for 5 minutes.
  6. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, tapping off excess. Decorate with sprinkles if desired. Let dry upright in a styrofoam block or cake pop stand.
