For the Crust:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
- 1 cup vanilla frosting
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sprinkles or decorations (optional)
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Mix in the vanilla frosting until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for at least 1 hour.
- Melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert into the chilled cake balls. Let set for 5 minutes.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, tapping off excess. Decorate with sprinkles if desired. Let dry upright in a styrofoam block or cake pop stand.
