Easy Classic Coleslaw Recipe

A super easy coleslaw recipe with just 4 ingredients that takes less than 10 minutes to make. Features a creamy mayonnaise-based dressing with a tangy and slightly sweet flavor profile.

  • 1 14oz bag shredded coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir the mayonnaise, honey, apple cider vinegar, salt, and onion powder until smooth
  2. Add in the bag of coleslaw mix
  3. Mix thoroughly until the coleslaw mix is thoroughly coated
  4. Serve immediately

Notes

Can be made up to a day in advance for potlucks and gatherings. For best flavor, refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours before serving to allow flavors to marry. You can use fresh shredded cabbage instead of pre-made coleslaw mix.
