For the Crust:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, combine pasta, vegetable broth, heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Sprinkle remaining cheeses on top and bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
