For the Crust:

1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
