Easter M&M Cookies

Colorful and festive cookies loaded with Easter M&Ms for a sweet holiday treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Easter M&Ms

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in Easter M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Press a few extra M&Ms on top of each cookie for decoration.
  9. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
