Easy Crockpot Cranberry Sauce

A simple and flavorful cranberry sauce made effortlessly in the crockpot, perfect for holiday meals.

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse fresh cranberries and remove any stems or damaged berries.
  2. Add cranberries, sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt to the crockpot.
  3. Stir to combine ingredients well.
  4. Pour in the orange juice and stir again.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
  6. Turn off crockpot and let sauce cool to thicken further before serving.

Notes

1. Adjust sugar amount to taste for desired tartness. 2. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking or burning. 3. For added flavor, zest of an orange can be added.
