For the Crust:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
