Cream Cheese and Turkey Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken

Tender chicken breasts stuffed with a creamy mixture of cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and crispy turkey bacon, coated in crushed Doritos for a crunchy, flavorful crust.

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the cream cheese mixture, pressing to fill the pocket evenly.
  5. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Doritos.
  6. Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then press into the crushed Doritos to coat completely.
  7. Place coated chicken breasts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the Doritos crust is golden and crispy.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, do not overstuff the chicken breasts to prevent filling from leaking. Letting the chicken rest after baking helps retain juices and keeps the filling creamy. You can substitute regular bacon with turkey bacon for a leaner option without sacrificing flavor.
