Cranberry Brie and Mozzarella Grilled Sandwich

A seasonal twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring tangy cranberry sauce, creamy brie, and gooey mozzarella on crispy sourdough bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • 23 tablespoons of cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 23 slices of brie cheese
  • Optional: flakey sea salt

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread cranberry sauce on top of the bread in the skillet.
  4. Add shredded mozzarella and sliced brie cheese.
  5. Place the second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top.
  6. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, flipping halfway through.

Notes

This sandwich is perfect for using leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving. You can also add a pinch of flakey sea salt for extra flavor.
