For the Crust:

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 eggs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk and ranch seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, panko, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Whisk eggs in another bowl. Dip each tender in the flour mixture, then egg, then back in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry tenders for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Drain on paper towels and immediately sprinkle with crumbled bacon while hot.
