Christmas Punch

A festive holiday punch featuring a perfect balance of cranberry juice, orange juice, and sparkling cider with optional alcohol. This easy crowd-pleasing punch is refreshing, not too sweet, and perfect for holiday parties.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups 100% cranberry juice
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 750 mL sparkling apple cider
  • 1.5 cups ginger ale
  • 1.5 cups dark rum or brandy
  • 2 oranges, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 large bag of ice

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients to ensure your punch is nice and cold
  2. Fill a large punch bowl with ice
  3. Pour in the cranberry juice, sparkling apple cider, ginger ale, and dark rum or brandy
  4. Stir gently to combine all ingredients
  5. Top with orange slices and fresh cranberries for garnish
  6. Serve immediately over ice

Notes

Use 100% cranberry juice, not cranberry juice cocktail, for best flavor and color. Mix juices ahead of time but add sparkling cider and ginger ale just before serving to keep the punch from going flat. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum or brandy.
