For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  2. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Spread the creamy filling evenly over the prepared crust.
  6. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it evenly over the cream layer.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top for garnish.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set before serving.
