Chinese Ground Beef and Cabbage Stir-Fry

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring ground beef and cabbage with classic Chinese seasonings.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
