Cherry Marshmallow Fudge Bars

A decadent dessert combining rich fudge, sweet cherries, and fluffy marshmallows for a delightful treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Fold in flour until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chopped cherries and marshmallows over the top.
  7. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until marshmallows are slightly melted.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
