Cherries in the Snow Dessert

A no-bake creamy cherry dessert with a buttery graham cracker crust, smooth cream cheese filling, and cherry pie topping.

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) tub of whipped topping
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and granulated sugar (if included) and stir well.
  2. Add melted butter to the crumbs and mix until the mixture sticks together when pressed.
  3. Press the graham cracker crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese slightly using a hand mixer.
  5. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat for 1 minute until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until no lumps remain, then add the rest of the whipped topping and mix until well blended.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  8. Slowly spoon and spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing. Ensure whipped topping is thawed but cold. Gently spread layers to maintain smooth texture.
