Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole

A comforting and creamy casserole with tender chicken, broccoli, and rice smothered in melted cheese.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 1/2 cups white rice, cooked
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs (if using) on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
